How To Cook Frog Legs
Cooking frog legs is an easy, delicious and creative way to enjoy a unique meal. With just a few simple ingredients, you can have an impressive dinner on the table in no time.
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds of Frog Legs
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup of dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup of minced fresh parsley
Instructions:
- Rinse frog legs and pat them dry. Make sure to remove any membrane that may be present.
- In a large sauté pan, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add frog legs and cook until they are lightly browned and almost cooked through, about 8 minutes.
- Add the wine and the lemon juice, stir to combine and let simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Stir in parsley and season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately.
Tips: If you don’t have access to frog legs, you can replace them with chicken thighs. You can also use vegetable broth in place of the white wine.
